Axios: Trump Expects Another Round of Negotiations With Iran This Week

Al-Taj News – US President Donald Trump told Axios on Sunday that he expects US negotiators to hold further talks with Iran this week.

Trump added: “I am thinking about resuming strikes on Iran continuously.”

Trump confirmed that the US military is facilitating the passage of large quantities of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, noting that the largest amount of oil had passed through the strait over the weekend since the start of the war.

For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed that the Iranian side is prepared to negotiate to the same extent that it is prepared to confront any aggression, even if it reaches the point of a devastating war.
